Considering whether or not to continue...

It seems that this isn't getting used like I hoped it would. Going to take a little hiatus to pray about whether or not we should continue this. If you have any thoughts let me know.

Hard to choose just one...

Proverbs is just so full of great lessons, direct and to the point. Today we'll look at chapter 4. Tomorrow we'll see what chapter 5 has for us.

Today we're into Proverbs 3, and tomorrow we'll dive into chapter 4. Remember this isn't just about reading through, it's about time with your God. Be reading prayerfully, pray before and after. Use this time to express your thankfulness to God for all the blessings you have received.

I'll assume we all finished up 1 Timothy over the weekend. Today we'll start in Proverbs 1, and tomorrow we'll read chapter 2

Day 9...yes I know it's still Tuesday...

but I'll be busy 1st thing tomorrow. I hope you are each being blessed by this time with the Lord, I know I am. Today we'll read 1 Timothy 3, with chapter 4 for Thursday. Thursday through Saturday I will be at BBC Preview with our High School Group, so this will not be updated in that time. I hope anyone who may come to join us in this great experiment with God will still spend that time with God, and feel free to add extra comments to this posting sharing your insights with us! See you Sunday!

Day 7... It's been one week...

I hope even if you haven't been online much, that this is or will become a real help for you. I have been enjoying it. I missed actually doing yesterdays devo, oops, I was so exhausted from youth group last night. Last night was awesome! And I have an incredible story about God answering prayer in a powerful way when I see the Tuesday morning crew. Anyway, today we'll look at 1 Timothy chapter 1 and tommorow we'll look at chapter 2. Paul's letters to Timothy are great for people "our" age (I'm including myself. in the big pictue I'm still young) because Paul is writing these letters as an older, experienced Christian, to a younger Christian, trying his best to serve the kingdom. I'ts filled with great advice and truths that we can apply to our lives everyday. Enjoy!

Happy Sunday. Today we're starting 1 Timothy chapter 1. Tomorrow we'll read chapter 2. Remember, we need time with Jesus every day.

Day 5...a little late

I was at a confrence today and didn't have a chance to put the reading on. Good thing I gave it to you yesterday, huh? Anyway today's reading is 1 Peter Chapter 5.
Tomorrow we'll start on 1 Timothy chapter 1.

Day 4...

Wow, yesterdays reading was great! Today we'll read 1 Peter 4, and tomorrow we'll finish up 1 Peter with chapter 5. Remember to spend time with Jesus, and comment here to let me know you did, so I don't have to nag :)
